I'm was working on a game inspired by Super Monkey Ball where you have these little microlevels that go into each other and the game is based around speed. (sadly I lost the build data but planning on making a V2)
Wanted to ask, do you guys have any tips to make levels that cater to speed runners? I'm trying to make this where you can have fun trying to get better times through these micro challenges, so if you guys have any tips, that'd be appreciated!

One way I've found personally is to have these challenges open to many ways to get around them. Like, simple concept, but it not being totally linear where there's multiple ways to beat it, some maybe faster than others.

Yea when building Mt. Bopi I made sure to leave in all the skips I managed to find, unless they were too overpowered or too noticeable
There were some that I didn't notice at all too which was cool too
